Default Linux Client

We need the client, we'll settle for the beta, alpha, s**t if it's only software rendering we'll take it. Run a linux powered gaming center and we have people waiting to try this game out.
We have many savage 1 players here so i know we'll have some major lan nights for this game coming.
We have a server box here sitting in wait.

haha! I don't know if i'd still like this game in software rendering

I'm very much looking forward to S2 client. Wish we'd get a ETA so I could count minutes! I also find savage2 far better than UT3

Savage 2 is released on January 16th.

The Linux client has been shadowed completely, however, betray linux and it doesnt live with you so long as you exist.

Indeed, I think this is the mistake that epic made and what prevented made their newly released game from taking off

The person writing the OpenGL renderer for the client went AWOL, so we had to put it on hold while we prep for launch. As soon as all the chaos of launching the game has died down, somebody will be working on this.

Yep haha, But we'll take it that way right now. As i understand it the Guy working on the renderer has bailed and they need a new Coder. Maybe they shoould look for someone who has more than .net skills on thier resume.
Ryan "Icculus" Gordon may be available guys, Give him a call.

icculus is a good choice for this... if nothing else he has the experience

someone better be found... cause no linux client means no savage 2 for me... and thats just unacceptable :(
