When you are blocked:
Set State_Blocked_AttackSpeedMult "0.8500"

Set State_Blocked_Stack "true"

Change to movement speed and attack speed.
and there's the proof.
no variable damage to block

Hey noobs,

This is a nice thread you have here, but all you need is in game_settings_local.cfg
C:\Users\[yourfacehere]\Documents\Savage 2 - A Tortured Soul\game

Any other questions?

Wrong. Every unit has a block meter of 75 except for Hellbourne. So you don't know jack.

No, it does not. Attack damage is not related to block meter damage.

Wrong again. First swings do just as much damage to your block meter as every other swing of the same unit.

Confirmed not only on a server and by having much more experience than you but also by the game itself:

Set Player_Revenant_MaxBlockMeter "100.0000"
Set Player_Devourer_MaxBlockMeter "150.0000"
Set Player_Malphas_MaxBlockMeter "175.0000"
As you can see every unit has the same blockmeter.

Think that's enough for you for today.

'Thanks for playing.'

Try again.

Stronger swings do more block damage, from my own experience.
Think not?

Record it and show otherwise. Use the practice mode NPCs if you want.

Not sure about the others though..

Sometimes there is no point in trying with this lot...

Honestly none of them even care they just want to create the illusion that they know something to pass on to newbs who will not learn a single thing from this lovely little write up .

This thread went to shambles a while ago. The game gives the illusion of variability to block meeters and such, but as it has been talked to damage and resistance are all equal except for Hellbourn units.

I wonder what the attackspeed bonus is per block for a hellbourn unit. Say devourer.

I would look it up myself, but I'm at work.
