Default Cyclone

Hiya's, finally decided to do another map.

It's a small map taking place in a snowy mountain range surrounded by enormous ice crystals at night.

I used a lot of resources from Strider's resource pack.
it can be found here: http://forums.savage2.com/showthread.php?t=19809
edit: added in the props directly to the map, you dont need to download the pack to use the map

The map is slightly off as the beast base moved a little higher up.

Updated download link 7/26

Any and all feedback is appreciated. Enjoy

I've probably missed something with the strider's pack because i get something like this :

I've putted everything in my "Savage2/Game/" (and also in ".savage2/game/" folder) but it remains the same.

Otherwise this map looks cool, and there's some nice places for siege units !

Did you put the whole folder "1resources" in the game folder or did you extract them from the folder? They should stay inside the 1resources folder, and the 1resource folder should be put in the game folder

Ok, made a new version of the map, its a bit bigger but that issue with the teapots should be gone.

the teapots may have been because it (the model)was made in 3dmax as when a 3dmax file corupts it turns itself in to a tea pot as its the standerd coruption object in 3dmax

Great map!

Noticed a few props elevated a tad too high so their bottoms were clearly visible
Mountains on stronghold side felt a tad too sharp going up, make it match the beast side.
at some parts the roads felt a little flat. Maybe add a little curves now and then around them.
Lots of flora (probably too much, replace with some rocks every now and then i suppose so it isn't all just grass)
Love the stones.
On the beast side, i could peak over the hellshrine hill and shoot people, unlike human side. might be too much wall riding.
Good job
