btw does anybody know how the models are licensed?
could i just create a highres render as wallpaper based on the models?
or even do a 3d print of it?

oh. i actually cant edit the models for the game.
just import in blender but never get back into the game as it seems :/

You do realise this guy has been working o this for 6days, part-time? Without dev help? Literally trial and error based off of knowing a few other model file formats? The progression is insane!

If you want quick&dirty report into savage2 you can export to a .3ds and have someone with max8 re-port it to S2 format, though that will require the 3DS guy redoing the UVM manually to match current/new texturefiles(as I understand it mapsfiles arn't importing yet).
Edit: theli says UVM is preserved.

CUrrent applications:
Insectwarrior rework fixing/adding animations (HvL2 anyone?)
Maliken rework as above.
->Savage Survival, real zombies, real custom animations.
Model reworks to show purchaced items/officer status/etc...

Eitherway that is a LOT more than we had before.

Hey insectwarrior animations and values were just a tad off , I'v sinch them together, added sound and tweaked the texture a bit in the reso pack .

Since 3ds Max 8 is old/pricy/windws-only i am working on a Blender Import/Export Scripts

for now it works for Hon and Savage 2 models only (i'm planning to add savage 1 support later)

to import animations armature needs to be selected (it is already selected if you just imported model)
after that just import clips one by one ...
each animation imports as an action
you can switch/view them in action editor
