Default HTTPGetFile

Ive been messing with it recently, and it seems that, randomly, it corrupts the downloaded file....

Did anyone (Old55/Winex) figure out why and when?

It also seems to overwrite files normally in linux, but in windows it doesnt?

There is a minimum size limit for it to work. Not sure about corruption issues. Haven't tried with windows.

This would be great to use for custom map servers right now. Instead of using up server bandwidth to download the map, it can redirect it to an http file on a different server to download much faster. How exactly is this used?

It is a UI command. I had a download server setup for a while that uses an interface that winex worked out for downloading files. It just never got fully tested and I didn't have a windows machine to test on.

I think it uses curl which is quite reali able . Maybe I'm wrong but I saw several curl calls from the console I think.

If it corrupts file, maybe we can do a magic word check?

I love VOIP
sing: "base, base, base, base, base, base, base"

Why only 15 year old girls? Since 4 Years, damn I'm doing something wrong...

One day I will find out who is responsible for the K2 scripting "language" and the modding "support". And then...

You can use wget, no? Just point the user to a site where he can download a script that upon running will download all the maps in the correct folder using wget. I made such a script for replays, give it a number and it downloads a replay. Then again you are the pro hackers and i'm a newbie so :P

HTTPGetFile is an actual K2 UI command, so you can do everything from within the game UI. No need for external scripts.
