People would fight inside of the plateau, build a garr, whatever they could.
I don't really know what you are trying to say. If you are worried about balance I don't think is will cause anymore balance issues then the hellshrine. Actually in levels with only 1 hellshrine the team that controls it has a huge advantage but controlling this "Solshrine" would only give a small advantage if any considering both teams can use it at any time. The heal would be slow anyway an you have to be inside the circle for it to work.

This area at the top of the plateau...
Make a proximity trigger with some radius. Make a script that applies the appropriate state to the player that enters the area. Pretty easy really.

I know how to make the proximity trigger but I don't know how to write the script. Any volunteers?

Also would it be the enter state or the stay state to place the script?

eaxs would be the one to really know. I would guess you want enter and stay to apply the same state but just for short durations (1000 ms?) and leave to remove the state.

Run around it a bit... Looks great!

But shouldn't there be more than two paths to climb up the hill? If a team builds the opposite's side of the plateu with towers etc, that being easy because of the higher ground (savage rangers), they completely rule the hill! If that's intentional... it will make commanding more interesting anyways!

The healing stones is a nice a idea, but the plateu is already "overpowered".

Only thing i spotted that disturbed me was the blockers at the beast path to the top... Are they intentional? If yes, i think they should leave some space free at the edge so players don't fall on them that often.

...and the map's corners look too empty... you could place some more plateus at the edges to block the view?

Still, its more than just interesting :P

There are 4 paths... 1 in each base and 1 at each natural. I originally designed it with only 2 paths(the ones at the naturals) but i felt that it would be to easy for 1 team to gain control of the top and tower up to keep control. So i added the 2 entrances at the bases so that each team always has a way to get to the top level.

Yes, the reason I designed this map is i felt there were not any maps that were challenging for commanders. Comms will really have to think about where and when they build on this map... it will be a nightmare or dream come true for comms depending how good they are at strategy.

which blockers? the gate at the top of the ramp. the blockers are to stop siege form entering the top level. Siege can only go down... not up. You will want to have a garr/sub at the top level before building siege.

There are 4 paths? ow, missed that :(
No siege going up? Well, tempests can fire at a pretty good range...
And battering rams can pass! They have to do some backwards and side movements, but its possible from the human side

The annoying blockers are at the beast side, near the top Π.
If you cross it, stepping on the dirt, and try to jump down to the right, you are blocked :(

I currently have problems uploading images... Maybe later

Yes the tempest can fire from the gate but range and angle are very limited(again comms need to be smart where they build). This is good because steambuchets have a range advantage when firing from the top so this gives Tempest some advantage of its own.

Really? you got a battering ram to the top .. I will have to fix that.

I need to fix that... I will pm you my email if it is easier for you to send a screenshot that way.
