Savage 2 is VERY fun and even as it sits now, fairly polished. By release, she'll be clean as a whistle and success shall be ours!

ok I play on Macintosh (lol that would probably be the source of the problem :p) so here is the tech stuff (I don't know much about computer processing, so I don't the the terminologies)

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

But with what graphic settings do you get that fps ?
I had very low fps on my laptop when i was playing on it, first thing to do is to lower ALL your graphic settings to the lowest (even resolution), only shaders have to be on the maximum quality (from what i've understood the low shaders versions are broken), turn all the graphic options with numbers to 0, but keep some for the world draw distance (I tested some things, a good compromise seems to be 3500 - 4000, but then think of highering it when you're commanding).

1 turn off vertical sincronism (gain many fps)
2 move foliage to 0 (gain some fps)
3 decrease resolution
---------------
On resume decrease graphic cuality and take a look what you you need and what is unnecesary and turn off it.

Disable Shadows and/or put Shaders onto low, those are the 2 that have the largest impact on your performance, then it's effects quality and foliage. Texture and model don't affect your fps at all

Element, if you put shaders on low how are you supposed to see those creepy marksmen?
Meconfuzed...

Edit: ram could do with a boost. And a better operating system.
