Thumbs up Putting off ophelia eu1 and increasing jereziah and ophelia eu3 player slots

I think it will be better like that, because when we have many people online there are at least 10 people who's waiting to opheila's servers.. and then they start a game at jereziah.. but when the game ends at opheila a lot are switching to jereziah, and then we have players who have nothing to do and they just leave for the rest of the day.

so if we'll have more room on eu2 and eu3 it will be more effective to the online servers, not to mantion how players will have more fun playing on bigger maps such as willow, and crossroads (since its allways being skipped because we don't have enough players for them on the server even when its full)

it will effect both the online playerbase and the fun players and the experince players are having

So my suggestion is: Put off ophelia eu 1 (30 slots) and increase jereziah (26 slots) by 10-12 (which make a 38 server slots) and increase ophelia eu 3 by 10\12

I don't expect both of them to be full (maybe both will be full on weekends, which will be awesome) but at least we'll have 20+ players all the time on europe times, and we might even reach more..

better daily experince imo.

More players don't mean better games. Few numbers makes teamplay relevant and makes for much better games.

30 would be really to most that i would put on a server.
the question is also if the server can "hold" so many people.

and what happens when there are 2 players more than a server can hold? same porblem starts again....
i think we dont need it..and if it gonna happen...dont increase to more than 30 on one.

It'd be epic. Savage isn't supose to be a copy of shitty games like DotA or LoL. More players would add more difficulty in Savage 2. Foward bases are already awesome in large servers of 40 ppl. If it had more it would be even better. There are lots of players just playing for the slashing and what happens is that in lots of matches the game gets stuck and the squads work does the trick to make a difference.

More minions for commanders to control also

But I don't think it's viable. Server will lagg more and so will players pc's prolly.

I agree with kitty. When a match ends many people join another server and make it full, so it results in you and some other players trying to guess wtf has happened. There are some things left to do: try playing with few people (if there's enough of them to start the match), just quit the game or start waiting when some player slots become available.
It's obvious that servers' hardware can handle with more than 30 people on them. But yeah, in case of having not a very powerful PC, you will have lags when you see many people on the screen slashing each other. But this depends on both game's video settings which can be lowered and hardware you own. Playing on low settings I can get some lags when see really many objects on the screen but I can lower my video settings so I don't care much.

most of today's pcs can run s2 with 80+ fps on the highest settings

and if I got this correctly all the servers are running on the same machine?

meaning that by droping 1 off to increase the others wont make the servers lag

its also depends on how many people are playing.. not on the server capacity

It depends on how many votes you expect for. Not sure if we can get more than 20.

yeah, but besides players there are actually the people who hold those servers..

its good that we have votes and stuff.. but we need a little bit more than that.. and its also a shame that players do not usually check the forums :\
