So, what does this do exactly ?
You removed the useless space at the end of some files ? Did you fix the UI's errors ? What textures were missing, and how did you create them ? Did you notice a performance upgrade ?

  1. After first making a backup of the original S2 files,
  2. Unzip the files to Savage 2 directory,
  3. Currently the folder is called textures-low,
  4. Change this to match textures-high or textures-med.
These do not necessarily need to be in a s2z/zip file and can be used direct from a folders location, with the correct directory name.

Also removed lots of blank space in the middle of code, especially the effects files which were very spaced out.

Modified many errors that show up in the console of missing items or incorrectly labeled.

There were textures that belong to parts of the UI, some are just due to the nature of the code, so made the smallest possible empty ones for these and the missing ones edited the originals in GIMP, Using the dds plug-in.

Yes, use to see missing frames on many occasions, on cleaning the code, found most areas noticing performance issues was due to large amounts of unnecessary spacing in the code.

It takes about the same time to log into a server as it took before. (used a timer, average of 35 secs)
There might be an improvement, but I'm just not noticing it.

Btw, I put the textures-low files into original textures-low.s2z, I'm assuming that's alright.

If there is a speed difference, I will notice it first
