Savage Ascension Tournament Series

We're kicking off the first S2 sponsored tournament series, Savage Ascension, with $6500 worth of cash prizes.

There will be five tournaments total. Two US $500 tournaments, one EU $500 tournament, and then both a US and EU Grand Prize tournament where the winning clan will take home $2500 USD.

We're launching more than just tournaments here. We've created a fully functional and robust tournament system that will allow any of our users to create and maintain their own tournaments.

In addition, we've added incentives for leaders out there to create and maintain their own clans. Anyone who is new to savage 2 and wants to bring a team/clan with him can email me and I will give them a free account. To prevent abuse, I will be checking back a week later on that account - if the account is not the leader of a clan of at least 5 members, I'll revoke access and that player will have to pay for a Savage 2 account. Players interested in this will need to email me, fielding@s2games.com, with their already created demo account information.

Where is the difference between the 500$ and 2500$ tournament except for the price money?

Besides that I want to say that I appreciate this move and I hope this will draw some focus on this game.

The 2500$ tournament is US/EU. That should answer both questions.

Theres a 2500$ tourney for both US/EU & 2x 500$ for US and 1x 500$ for EU actually -_- Looking forward to it.

Regarding the free account thingy, is that only for the leader who is planning to bring a clan into savage 2 or is it for the members as well?

I'm also confused regarding the grand prize tourney, because here in this topic you say it will be one tournament involving both EU and US clans whereas on the site http://tournaments.savage2clans.com/list_view.php there is one US grand tournament and one EU grand tournament.

Participation is open to anyone. The US / EU difference is server location. A clan can enter all 5 of the tournaments.

Of course they are allowed to participate. But I guess you don't have a big chance on a server with a high ping.
