Default Savage 2 PVP VIDEO

Hey,

This is my first video of Savage2.

It's made for 2 things:
~ Showing the combat of Savage2
~ Tips for basic and advanced combat.

It's 18 minutes long, features a ton of different situations, fights as well as commentary.

The video is 440 MB with a 720x480 resolution.

This is the first of what I hope to be many videos of Savage2 PvP.

Here ya' go:

-Ok, I've watched it, and I think all your tips are good. Some of them require pretty high reflex and situation analysis speed, like the stun before the pred does the jump attack.
-Hyperblast rocks.
-Sometimes you seem to fight newbs or something cause spamming quick attack is not something I see often.

Good video overall, and good action to make a advice video like this.

PS: In the first fight, you vs the hunter, I was like "What a retarded guy is that hunter" then you aim at him and I see "exezic" above his head. Duh.

haha, I thought when it said "and in slow motion, you were going to be like "just kidding,"" but it really does show some crucial things later on in the video.

I agree with the >1v1 being overkill. If I have me + player1 fighting player5, we should both range and kite him. I kite and run while player1 ranges him down from behind. I never understood 5 people running to kill 1 person.

good video. teaching alot of the basics that are vital to great public server play.

I like how the slow motions really show how precise the timing is and how a few hundred milliseconds can be the difference between a successful single vs group slaughter or waiting to respawn.

I came at DOS raping you. Good discourse on melee-control too. 1v1s are all about being in control. New players beat me all the time because their style switches and I get confused trying to read what they're doing next.

Music was worthy. Video quality was flawless. You've definitely made a success if your goal is to teach new people.

Overall; 9.2/10.

Now that I know exezic was the hunter at the start... Overall; 9.8/10

Thanks for putting in your time to make this.

Most of the people (70%~) were newbs, which is also emphasized by the simplicity of some of the tips. Like using buffs before entering combat.

But yeah, exezic is also featured. ^^
He's also the Conjurer that I chase down with my Ravager at the 2:20 mark.

I'm not the best at this game, but I feel at least average. So I use a lot of the "vs. Newbs" scenes to point out the mistakes that new players make.

At the same time, something like reacting to a Predator's Jump Attack with a Bash is not easy. So I feel there's a little for everyone in there.

..or I could stop typing in the middle of combat.
