Default The Scar

I've been working on a map for quite a while now, based on the Scar from the story, although it has diferent design. I think it's pretty original in its environment, concept and layout, but there's a lot of weird paths that will confuse people. There's a new NPC, the purple troll, and I'm planning to have another one which I'm having trouble with.

There are 2 bridges connecting the two sides which aren't visible in the minimap. There's 4 major mountains (2 on each side). Only 1 on each side has a mine. They all have a primary spot to put an outpost (which holds the mine, if there's one) and a backup spot, if you're afraid to lose the primary one and have some extra shinies.

Comment and suggestions are welcome. Enjoy!

Woah, looks like a good atmosphere. I hope it doesn't get boring after a while. Definitely needs a look ingame.

Looks pretty interesting. Guessing mid is an impassable gorge and you have to go the long way. Takes a while between bases, im not sure of the size but it might be tricky to get subs going in key spots, and again, thin passageway. This will be an interesting map to see a game play out. Question though, can you fit subs in the middle?

Well said.

Honest suggestion would be to look into making sure it has some creepy music. I think atmosphere could carry this mod pretty far.

There are 2 big bridges that connect the 2 sides, so you don't have to walk all the way through the scar. You can't build outposts in the middle, I specifically blocked them out with props under the terrain.

Screenshots look interesting. I cannot run the map though. It says server full when I try to open it. And game crashes when I try to open manually.

Couldn't you put some walkable ground in the bottom of the canyon, under the bridges? So they show up on the minimap.

Otherwise, looks interesting to say the least. Are most of those passages wide enough for garrs/subs?
